I was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, and now live in New York with my husband, nearly 3 year old daughter and 18 month old son. Like mothers know, no two children are alike. My daughter is Miss Social Butterfly and my son is Mr. Feisty. Their personalities, like apples and oranges are very different.

Always on a mission to find unique and stylish clothing for my kids, I was inspired to start Apples & Oranges Kids Clothes. Apples & Oranges Kids Clothes caters to individuality; clothes that are boldly different, yet simple and fun. I am dedicated to providing you with an exciting selection of styles for the little citizens of our world.

Apples & Oranges is not only about beautiful clothing but also about charitable giving. Being raised in South Africa where poverty is still a daily existence, I wanted to find a way to give back to local communities. In order to do so I've chosen Lumela Afrika products. Lumela Afrika is a job creation project focusing on the employment of single black mothers from local Townships of Sharpville, Sebokeng and Orange Farm in South Africa. Proceeds from the sale of Lumela products go towards supporting 3 children's shelters for abandoned and abused children as well as AIDS orphans.
